A smooth decaffeinated Ceylon black tea layered with ripe raspberry, raspberry leaves, and natural flavor for a bright, juicy berry cup with significantly less caffeine.
The Experience
Raspberry Decaffeinated Black Tea pairs the clean structure of Ceylon black tea with the unmistakable aroma and flavor of ripe raspberries.
The blend begins with decaffeinated Ceylon black tea, providing a smooth, medium-bodied foundation. Raspberry fruit and raspberry leaves add dimension to the blend, while natural flavor reinforces the berry character so it remains expressive through the finished cup.
The result is bright, fruity, gently tart, and smooth, with enough black-tea presence to keep the raspberry from becoming overly sweet or candy-like. It is an easy everyday flavored decaf and particularly refreshing served over ice.

Tea & Ingredients
Tea Type: Decaffeinated Flavored Black Tea
Base Tea: Decaffeinated Ceylon Black Tea
Flavor Profile: Raspberry • Red Berry • Bright
Ingredients: Ceylon decaffeinated black tea, raspberry, raspberry leaves, natural flavor
Caffeine: Decaffeinated*
Body: Medium
*Decaffeinated tea is not necessarily caffeine-free; small residual amounts of caffeine may remain after processing.
How to Brew
Use approximately 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz / 237 ml of water at 212°F / 100°C. For your first cup, steep for approximately 3–5 minutes and adjust to taste. A moderate infusion allows the Ceylon tea to develop enough structure to balance the fruit.
Enjoy it straight to experience the clearest raspberry character. For iced tea, brew slightly stronger before pouring over plenty of ice.
Perfect For
Raspberry Decaf is particularly enjoyable for afternoon and evening tea, warm-weather iced tea, dessert tea, or anytime you want a fruit-forward black tea without another fully caffeinated cup. Pair it with dark chocolate, vanilla cake, shortbread, cheesecake, scones, fresh berries, almond pastries, or mild cheeses.
Raspberry Fruit vs. Raspberry Leaves
Although they come from the same plant, raspberries and raspberry leaves don't contribute the same character to a tea blend.
The fruit gives us the familiar juicy, sweet-tart berry association. Raspberry leaves are much more herbaceous and subtle. They don't taste like concentrated raspberry fruit. Instead, they contribute botanical depth underneath the more obvious berry character.
Together, the blend is more layered than simply flavoring black tea to taste like raspberry: Ripe berry → smooth black tea → subtle leafy character → bright raspberry finish.
Raspberry Decaf vs. Peach Apricot Decaf
Both are fruit-forward decaffeinated black teas, but they appeal to different palates.
-
Raspberry Decaffeinated - Raspberry • Bright berry • Gently tart
→ Best for: customers who enjoy lively red-fruit flavors with a little brightness
-
Peach Apricot Decaffeinated - Peach • Apricot • Smooth
→ Best for: customers who prefer softer, rounder, naturally sweet-tasting stone fruit
-
Blackcurrant Berry Decaffeinated - Blackcurrant • Cassis • Dark berry
→ Best for: customers looking for a deeper and more aromatic dark-fruit profile
Think of the fruit progression as:
-
Peach Apricot → soft & juicy
-
Raspberry → bright & lively
- Blackcurrant Berry → deep & intense
Hot or Iced?
Raspberry is one of those flavors that changes beautifully with temperature.
-
Hot: The Ceylon black-tea foundation is more apparent, creating a balanced fruit-and-tea experience.
-
Iced: Raspberry moves forward and becomes brighter and more refreshing.
For iced tea, brew slightly stronger than usual before pouring over ice. Taste before sweetening; the raspberry aroma itself can contribute a noticeable impression of sweetness even without adding sugar.
Decaf Doesn't Mean Caffeine-Free
Raspberry Decaf contains genuine black tea from the Camellia sinensis plant, which naturally contains caffeine before decaffeination. Most of that caffeine is removed during processing, but small residual amounts may remain.
Choose this tea when you want significantly less caffeine while retaining the body and character of flavored black tea. If complete caffeine avoidance is important, choose one of our naturally caffeine-free fruit, herbal, or rooibos blends instead.
Packaging: Our loose teas are sold by the ounce and packaged in food-grade resealable bags.
