25 Days of Moments Together — Advent Pre-Sale Is Here.

You weren’t simply asking us to bring back 25 teas. You were asking us to bring back 25 days you shared with someone.
Last month, I told you that our Advent Calendar was coming back. This month, pre-sale is officially here—and I want to tell you a little more about why we brought it back.
When we announced that our existing Advent format would be discontinued, we thought we were saying goodbye to a product.
Then you started telling us your stories.
A mother and daughter living in different cities, each opening the same tea every day. Friends scattered across the country, brewing the daily tea together and gathering in a group chat to compare notes and debate their favorites. Couples and families who had made those 25 little tea moments part of December year after year.
You showed us that Advent had become a tradition—a reason to make time for someone you love, even when you couldn’t be together.
That changed our thinking.
So for 2026, we reimagined Advent around what you told us mattered most: 25 Days of Moments Together. There are still 25 days of tea discoveries, but beginning December 1, each cup also opens a digital experience (sneak peak here) exploring its history, culture, flavor, Churchill’s story, or holiday tradition and an invitation to share the experience with someone else. Because perhaps the most meaningful part of Advent was never simply discovering what tea was behind the next number.
It was having someone to share the discovery with.

Meanwhile, September is bringing plenty of changes inside Churchill’s, too. Our staff has picked some favorite teas for those first hints of fall, and behind the scenes we are deep into one of our biggest tea-information projects in years: updating both our Findlay Market wall board, our extensive loose-leaf tea menu book, and our big sample wall.
And while we're spending so much time looking at the walls of our Findlay Market shop, we've also been looking backward—into the remarkable history of the Market itself and what it means for Churchill's to be part of this Cincinnati institution.
There is a lot brewing this fall. We can't wait to share it with you. Try these delicious teas to cozy up with during the changing seasons:
- Almond Rocker Rooibos - A cozy blend of rooibos, sweet cherry, and almond, perfect for welcoming the changing seasons.
- Zesty Basil Oolong - Bright lemon and refreshing basil mingle with lightly roasted oolong for a crisp, inviting cup.
- Colombian Moca Black Tea - Smooth Colombian black tea and rich cacao create a warm, roasted cup with a lingering cocoa finish.
Fueling inspiration, one steep at a time,
Angela
Making 300 Teas Easier to Explore

If you've stood inside our Findlay Market shop and looked at our enormous tea selection, you already understand the challenge:
How do you make nearly 300 teas easier and more delightful to explore?
That is something we've been thinking about—a lot. Right now, our team is working hard behind the scenes to update our extensive loose-leaf tea menu book, the tea wall board, and the big sample wall at Findlay Market, where you can see and explore our teas before choosing what to take home.
We're reviewing the collection tea by tea—names, categories, descriptions, ingredients, origins, flavor profiles, and the visual guides that help you navigate it all. We're also rethinking how we organize and present our teas, both on the page and throughout the store.
It is painstaking work, but with a collection this extensive, the details matter. Our goal isn't simply to show you 300 teas. We want to make discovering your next tea easier, more intuitive, and more fun.
Stay tuned. We can't wait for you to see and experience the updates at Findlay Market.
Findlay Market Is Turning 175!

In 2027, Findlay Market will celebrate its 175th anniversary, and Churchill's is proud to help the Market gather the stories and connections that have made it such an extraordinary part of Cincinnati.
A 175-year history isn't just a collection of dates and buildings. It lives in the people. It lives in the merchants who opened their stalls early in the morning, the employees who spent years working behind the counters, the families who made Saturday trips to the Market part of their traditions, and generations of Cincinnatians who have memories tied to this place. Findlay Market wants to hear those stories.
If you—or someone you know—owned a business at Findlay Market, worked for a Market merchant, have a family connection to the Market, or have a precious Findlay Market memory you would like to share, please fill out this form or pass it along to someone who does.
We especially hope you will help us spread the word to former merchants, employees, and their families who may no longer be directly connected with the Market today. 175 years of Findlay Market isn't one story. It is thousands of Cincinnati stories—and yours may be one of them.
