As we welcome the New Year, my heart is full of gratitude for 2025. Thank you for supporting Churchill’s Fine Teas—by choosing to shop with us, attending tea classes, gathering at community events, supporting our relocation, and sharing our teas with friends and family near and far. Every visit, kind word, and shared cup has reminded me why this work matters so deeply.
Behind the scenes, the past two years—especially 2025—have been some of the most challenging of my life. Stepping into ownership of a beloved tea shop came with quiet fears I carried daily: Would I honor what people already loved? Would I live up to the trust placed in me? Add an unexpected relocation, rising tariffs, and constant uncertainty, and there were moments when the weight felt overwhelming. There were nights I questioned myself and wondered if I was doing enough, or doing things right.
And then messages like this arrived:
“When I first heard that the original owner sold the company, I was very worried… But every step of the way, you have proven my worries to be completely unfounded. Your teas are unmatched, your customer service is amazing, and things just keep getting better and better.”
Words like these carried me through the hardest days. They reminded me that care shows, that intention matters, and that this community truly sees the heart behind every cup we serve.
I also want to pause and thank my incredible team. Through long days, big changes, and moments of uncertainty, our staff showed up with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for every customer who walked through our doors. This business would not be where it is today without their dedication, patience, and belief in what we are building together.
As Churchill’s Fine Teas steps into the New Year, I do so with renewed purpose and deep appreciation. We remain committed to premium-quality teas and exclusive in-house artisan blends, to creating more meaningful experiences through classes and private tastings, to offering thoughtful gifts that bridge generations and cultures, and to continuing to grow a tea community where everyone feels welcome.
