The blend begins with carefully selected high-grown black teas from Sri Lanka, India’s Nilgiri region, and Kenya, grown at elevations reaching approximately 2,000–2,500 meters (6,500–8,200 feet). At these higher elevations, cooler growing conditions and slower leaf development can contribute to teas with greater aromatic character and complexity—creating a flavorful foundation for this fruit-forward blend.

Sri Lankan tea contributes classic Ceylon brightness and gentle floral character, while Nilgiri tea adds body and depth, and Kenyan tea contributes maltiness and a beautiful golden color. Together, they create a substantial black tea base capable of carrying the sweet, juicy character of blueberry without disappearing beneath the fruit.
