Decadent chocolate, creamy coconut, and fragrant rose come together over full-bodied black tea in this dessert-inspired Churchill’s artisan blend created by CFT alum Evan.
The Experience
Chocolate Rose Macaroon Black Tea began with a little creativity inside Churchill’s. Created by CFT alum Evan, this artisan blend layers the richness of chocolate with creamy coconut and the delicate fragrance of rose, transforming a full-bodied black tea into something reminiscent of a beautifully crafted confection.
The experience begins with chocolate. Chocolate and white chocolate chips bring richness and creamy sweetness, while coconut flakes add a warm, pastry-like character. Rose buds and petals then introduce an elegant floral note that lifts the blend and keeps the chocolate and coconut from becoming overly heavy.
The contrast is what makes the tea memorable. Chocolate is rich. Coconut is creamy and gently tropical. Rose is fragrant and delicate. Underneath them all, black tea provides enough depth and structure to bring those seemingly different flavors together.
The result is a full-bodied, dessert-inspired cup that's indulgent without losing its identity as tea—part chocolate confection, part floral pâtisserie, and distinctly Churchill’s.

From the Churchill’s Blending Table
Some of Churchill’s most distinctive teas don't begin with a traditional recipe. They begin with someone asking: What would happen if we put these flavors together?
For CFT alum Evan, the answer was chocolate, coconut, and rose. Chocolate provides familiar indulgence. Coconut introduces creamy, confection-like richness. Then rose changes the entire personality of the blend, adding fragrance and elegance to ingredients that might otherwise feel purely dessert-like.
It's also a wonderful example of what artisan blending can be: taking familiar ingredients and finding a combination that gives them an entirely new expression. Chocolate for richness. Coconut for creaminess. Rose for elegance. Tea to bring it all together. And one Churchill’s team member with an idea worth putting in the cup.
