Ceramic Matcha Bowl & Chasen Holder Set

Bring beauty, function, and intention to your matcha ritual with this coordinated ceramic matcha bowl and whisk holder set.

Designed for both preparation and care, each set pairs a generously sized chawan-inspired matcha bowl with a coordinating ceramic chasen holder. The wide bowl provides ample room for whisking matcha, while the shaped holder gives your bamboo chasen a dedicated place to rest and air-dry after use.

Choose from four distinctive designs, each combining its own color, glaze, and character.

Choose Your Design

• Graceful Ripple – Pink & Green
Soft color and flowing form come together in this distinctive design. A pink-to-green gradient moves across the ceramic surface while the bowl's gently rippled contours create a sense of movement from rim to base. The transition of color and shape evokes the organic beauty of petals, leaves, and water in motion—graceful without being overly delicate. The reactive glaze creates subtle variations in tone and pattern, giving each bowl its own character. Its wide 14.5 cm diameter × 7 cm high form also provides generous room for the quick whisking motion used to prepare matcha.
• Tranquil Sand Stone
A quiet, earthy finish with a grounded character, created for a calm and understated matcha setting.
• Respectful Ember Red
A warm, expressive red finish that brings richness and presence to the preparation of matcha.
• Harmony Pink & Teal
A balanced pairing of soft pink and teal, bringing together contrasting tones in a playful yet composed design.

Designed for Whisking

The generously proportioned ceramic bowl gives your chasen room to move freely as you whisk matcha and water together. While each design has its own visual character and may feature subtle differences in form, all are selected with the preparation and enjoyment of matcha in mind.

A Proper Place for Your Chasen

After preparing your matcha, rinse the bamboo whisk with clean warm water, gently shake off excess moisture, and place it over the shaped ceramic holder. The holder supports the curved form of the chasen's delicate bamboo tines while allowing air to circulate as the whisk dries between uses.

Care

Hand wash the ceramic pieces with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes, and allow the pieces to dry completely before storing. Because ceramic glazes naturally vary during firing, slight differences in color, pattern, and finish are part of the individual character of each piece.
