Lovely.

Nutty and lovely with a bit of cream. It is nice, strongly brewed or lightly steeped, with honey or by itself. A unique and rewarding choice.

The tea I’ve been looking for…

I was recommend pistachio puer by a different tea shop that has since closed down. So I’ve been looking for some equivalent for a long time. And this is the closest I’ve gotten so far. It’s splendid.

Pistachio Pu-Erh Minus the Natural Flavors

After my local tea shop closed I had to search the internet for my favorite: Pistachio Pu-Erh. Thankfully, Churchill's doesn't use Natural Flavors in this tea, unlike all the other companies I looked at to replenish my pantry of it. I also really appreciate the Steep Direction Card that came with my order. I have it on the fridge and double check it all the time!

It’s delicious and comforting. Just the right amount of sweetness with the pu-erh flavor shining though. The pistachio is mild, and I would actually prefer more of it! if you put creamer in with your tea, it really highlights a beautiful light pink color.

Beautiful as can be. This is one of my favorite teas and I can drink cup after cup. It is earthy, nutty and creamy too.

A huge thanks to Mariana for including this in our box as a sample. I am not a fan of pistachios, at all. This is one I would never have even looked at because normally due to it being a pu-erh and having pistachio in the name. The taste is sweet, nutty, and creamy, and it has a slightly earthy touch. It pulls the combination off beautifully. We brewed it for 3.5 minutes, which was perfect. Good advice with this or any pu-erh, don't use boiling water or it will be a bit bitter. This is one I will definitely buy.
