Shade-grown spring 1st flush Japanese Gyokuro buds that have been stone-ground to a fine powder. Green tea is rich in catechins and polyphenols, desirable antioxidants. Consuming the entire tea leaf as in matcha creates one of the healthiest beverages on earth.
Ingredients: ground green tea.
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of matcha is whisked with 4 to 5 ounces of 175F water in a bowl.
