This earthy tea comes from the Yunnan Province in China, which is famous for producing aged tea (pu-erh). Pu-erh is known to help aid in digestion and reduce cholesterol levels. It is frequently sipped after meals as a digestif. Pu-erh and the tea leaves experience the complex process of gradual fermentation and maturation.
