Also known as Longjing tea (translates as Dragonwell) this famous tea grows near Long Jing Village in the West Lake area of Hangzhou, Zheijiang Province, China. The tea is pan-roasted and has a very distinct aroma and taste, with light layers of sweetness and astringency, and a nutty undertone.

The pattern on the bag was designed in house by our team member Lauryn to bring to life the concept of “one heart and two leaves” desired by the company’s owner, Angela Qu.
What is "One heart and two leaves"? In Mandarin, the phrase of "One heart and two leaves" refers to high quality loose leaf teas. The two leaves are the tea leaves and one heart is the heart of the tea plant - the bud that gives the best flavor of the teas. To Angela, one heart also refers to the heart behind every cup of tea we serve at Churchill's Fine Teas.
