Russian Caravan Black Tea
Just as promised, this tea is incredibly smokey. It's got a vivid, charcoal/burnt wood smell and taste that makes you feel like you just took a bite of a campfire. My father actually says the dry leaf/tea smells exactly like bourbon- no surprise, given the tea's origin- so I've been meaning to see if I can make a virgin mint julep with this. Be careful how long you steep it- 3 minutes on the dot is the sweet spot, 3:20+ gives an intense smokey flavor that really packs a punch. This tea really wakes up your senses, absolutely give this tea a try!

Out of all the teas I've tried at this store, Russian caravan is my absolute favorite! The light smokey flavors go well with all meals. It makes for great iced tea too!
